1. This FAQThe information contained in this FAQ is based on the experiences of the ISGA members. While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information in this FAQ, the ISGA, and it's members do not claim any expertise on Sugar Gliders. For any health problems concerning your Sugar Glider, consult a qualified veterinarian. 2. The ISGA
The International Sugar Glider Association (ISGA) is an association of members from across the world united in the desire to disseminate information on the care, breeding, and knowledge of the Sugar Glider (Petaurus Breviceps). Toward this end, it supports a mailing list and a web page. We have members from across the world and in various walks of life. Several veterinarians have been active on our mailing list as well as folks who have cared for them in Australia. There are a number of breeders on the list as well. The ISGA provides a forum for discussion on these animals. The ISGA does not claim to be an expert on the subject. As always, all discussions (including this FAQ) should be taken with a grain of salt. The final authority in any issue concerning the health and well being of your sugar glider should be a veterinarian with special experience with these animals. **Note: The ISGA is not accepting new membership applications at this time. 2.2. The ISGA mailing lists. The ISGA now runs two related mailing lists: talk and talk-digest. The digests compile and send mail out after they reach a certain size. The talk-lists are for general exchange of Sugar glider topics. The easy way to subscribe to the list(s) is to send a message to majordomo@isga.org with the word unsubscribe in the body of the message. List members are responsible for and required to read the list guidelines and the list etiquette guide *before joining the list*. One can also subscribe by sending e-mail to majordomo@isga.org with either of the following one-line commands: subscribe (pick one:talk or talk-digest) to unsubscribe: unsubscribe (list name) One can also receive help with regards to majordomo commands by sending e-mail to majordomo@isga.org with the single line "help" in the body.
